Sopo Bicycle Co-op Moves to EAV

The grassroots Sopo Bicycle Co-op has taken workshop space neighboring SouthStar CDC

The Sopo Bicycle Co-op, whose mission is to create equitable access to cycling by providing no/low-cost bicycle maintenance services and education, has occupied the space neighboring SouthStar CDC in the East Atlanta Village. Through a connection made by SouthStar CDC Board member Earl Daniels, the grassroots bike co-operative has moved into permanent space less than one year after its founding.

The Grand Opening date was October 29, 2005. The Sopo workshop provides a central forum for sharing equipment, materials, and expertise, and facilitates affordable, practical, hands-on support for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. For more information visit http://www.sopobikes.org.
