Battle of Atlanta Consumes SouthStar CDC

The BATL Event Brings History, Tourism to Southeast Atlanta

The B*ATL Event ripped through southeast Atlanta today, commemorating the 142nd anniversary of the Battle of Atlanta. The annual event features historic re-enactments, memorials at key battle and gravesites, a gala ball, a 5K race and fun run, and is coordinated with arts and entertainment in the area.

SouthStar CDC is a community partner of B*ATL to help celebrate and stimulate economic development in southeast Atlanta.
