SouthStar CDC Receives United Way Grant

United Way of Metropolitan of Atlanta has awarded a grant of $8,000.

The grant is in support of the United Way DeKalb County Individual Development Account program. This program, managed by staff member Kagbare Onobrakpeya, helps first-time home buyers by matching savings for down payment  and by providing education classes on topic related to home ownership. SouthStar CDC has partnered with the United Way to establish 40 homeowners over a two year period.
